great locationfriendly staff
i was impressed with the location near the castle. i also appreciated the colourful plants even in early march. the view from my balcony faced the city and i was very satisfied with it. breakfast was excellent with a really kind staff.
the bus service to the city was not very frequent.

The rooftop pool was nice, offering a place to relax.
I found the service slow. It sometimes took 20 minutes just to place a drinks order. The decor is also quite outdated. The hotel claimed they had never seen bedbugs before despite photographic evidence.

I REALLY loved the views from this location. They are fine and span across the entire area. The breakfast was great (I liked the fresh orange juice!). The staff was helpful and nice. The room was large and clean. It had a GREAT, comfy bed and lots of space.
The sound proofing could be improved (I did hear some noise from adjacent rooms).

The receptionists were friendly, efficient, AND helpful with directions. Cleaning ladies worked so hard to keep the hotel super clean! The waiters in the bar were attentive, AND the food and drinks came quickly after we ordered.

small pooldated staircase
The pool was indeed small. Quite small. and the outdated decor.. well, it was a choice. we loved the view. but the dated staircase did make me wonder if i'd accidentally stumbled into a historical re-enactment. Not really a great experience.
